“Island of Kadavu” was delivered new to Air Pacific in 1999. In 2013 the Fijian national carrier returned to its old name, Fiji Airways. The rebranding featured the heritage-bound national design using pacific tribal patterns and emblems. In August 2019 “Island of Kadavu” was retiredto Sanford, Florida where it was usedas a fire rescue training aid. The cockpit has been preserved and Airskinz was given the privilege to salvage the skin to Honour the legacy of this iconic aircraft. When Airskinz began processing the skinto make this tag we were pleasantly surprised to find the Air Pacific colours hidden underneath the current livery. By adjusting the engraving depth for each piece we were able to optimise the colour combination, making each one truly unique.
