Aviationtag presents its latest edition, the Bombardier Challenger 604. This edition is made from upcycled parts of the aircraft with the registration 2-SLOW, which has a moved history in the aviation industry.
The aircraft, built in 1999, was originally registered as D-ADNE for Daimler Chrysler Aviation and went through several ownership changes and registrations. Its last operator was Volare Aviation. Its journey came to an unfortunate end with a nose gear collapse during a refueling stop at Iraklio Airport in Crete, Greece, on January 27, 2022. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident and the aircraft safely landed with four passengers and three crew members on board.
Aviationtag has salvaged parts from this aircraft to create a unique edition that celebrates the history of this iconic aircraft. These tags serve as a reminder of the Challenger 604’s speed and performance, as well as its unfortunate end.
